The Senior Graduation Party is a tradition at Yorktown. Graduating seniors get to participate in a drug- and alcohol-free celebration with their friends and classmates.
We are now planning to co-host (with YHS) a Graduation Party Picnic, after school on Wednesday, June 16 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. An outdoor celebration is the only way for us to follow all pandemic-related state and local public health guidelines, but with food, a DJ, and games on the baseball/softball space; we think it also will be fun! Masks will be required.

Loan Us Your Lawn Games for the Senior Picnic
We would like to borrow lawn games from families to provide outdoor activities during the picnic. Please label items with a full name and email or phone number.
• Sign-up to lend your games! We are looking for lawn games such as corn-hole, spike ball, Kan-Jam, bocce, or giant jenga.
• Drop-off: at the entrance to the football field between 10:00-11:00 am on Wednesday, June 16th
• Pick-up: the borrowed items between 1:30 and 2:00 pm.
Prizes!
This has not been the senior year our kids expected or deserved. Help us make their Senior Graduation Picnic a success, and create some fun memories before it is over. We are collecting donations for the prize/ raffle booth. Please help us. We are seeking tangible as well as monetary donations. Anything a teen would enjoy: wireless speakers, gift cards, Caps Jersey, Nationals tickets, etc. Donations can be dropped off in the bin on the porch at 2246 N Burlington St. 22207. We would love to get enough donations for all seniors to get something. Or you ca use Venmo for a monetary. Venmo @Janis-Johnson-17 (last four digits of phone number are 1042 for verification)

Tents!
We are looking to borrow approximately 10 canopy tents (sport tents 10×10) for the Senior Picnic on Wednesday, June 16. Please bring your tent to the entrance of the football field on Greenbrier by 10am and pick up by 2pm. Please ensure your tent is clearly labeled with your name and phone number.
